This course covers the basic knowledge and key concepts for understanding Project Management, Project Selection, Project Roles and an Organization's Business Environment.

Processes and Domains

Covers the project development life cycles including predictive, agile and hybrid. This course reviews the Project Management process from the perspective of the 5 Process Groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing as well as the Domains within which projects occur: People, Process and Business Environment.

Integration Management

Putting all the pieces of a project together into one cohesive whole that gets the project done faster, cheaper, and with fewer resources, while meeting the project objectives. This course includes developing a Project Charter and Project Management Plan, Directing and Managing Project Work, Managing Project Knowledge, Monitoring and Controlling Project Work, Performing Integrated Change Control and Closing the Project

Scope Management

Defining what work is required and then managing to ensure all of that work, and only that work, is completed. This course covers Planning Scope Management, Collecting Requirements, Defining Scope, Creating the WBS, Validating Scope and Controlling Scope.

Schedule Management

How do you manage a Project Schedule? This course covers Planning Schedule Management, Defining Activities, Sequencing Activities, Estimating Activity Durations, Developing the Schedule and Controlling the Schedule.

Cost Management

How do you manage the Costs in a Project? This course covers Planning Cost Management, Estimating Costs, Determining the Budget and Controlling Costs.

Quality Management

Understanding Quality and its role in the Project Management Process. This course covers Planning Quality Management, Managing Quality and Controlling Quality .

Resource Management

Resource Management includes both Human Resources and Physical Resources. This course covers Planning Resource Management, Estimating Activity Resources, Acquiring Resources, Developing a Team, Managing a Team and Controlling Resources. 

Communications Management

Communication in Project Management is critical to success. Communication related issues are typically the #1 problem cited by Project Managers. This course covers Planning Communications Management, Managing Communications and Monitoring Communications 

Risk Management

This course covers Planning Risk Management, Identifying Risks, Performing Qualitative Risk Analysis, Performing Quantitative Risk Analysis, Planning Risk Responses, Implementing Risk Responses and Monitoring Risks.
